Here are some of the answers to the most frequently asked questions in our homebakery.

1. What makes your products different?

Well, you might have read once or twice that we are a scratch bakery, and that fact alone sets apart from most other bakeries. This improves the taste and quality of the products we make. Our desserts are not made in factories like those you might purchase from some grocery store bakeries. We never freeze our cakes, though that too is a common practice. Pound/Butter cakes are expensive to make, but the unmatched taste is worth every penny.

2. Are you a full service bakery, or do you only make cakes?

We are a full-service bakery. We do not make traditional breads, but we make healthy breads.

3. How do I place an order?

You may place an order through our website; by calling or WA us at 0197717074; . Photographs may be e-mailed to us at info at ashrenspan3@gmail.com. Designs can always be completed via e-mail and telephone contact; however, you are always welcome to visit us.

4. Where can I find your pricing?

Please call or e-mail us for pricing. Pricing varies depending on the design elements, size and flavor, so it would not be practical to list pricing for every cake we are capable of doing.

5. Am I limited to the cake designs on your website?

No! Those photographs are merely examples of work we’ve done in the past. Truthfully, we are generally too busy to photograph our work. If you name it, we can create it.

6. Are your cakes covered in fondant?

We are skilled at using buttercream icing; however, we do cover our cakes with fondant upon customers request.

7. What is fondant?

Fondant is a sugar-based covering for cakes that is a substitute for traditional icing. Fondant is useful for certain designs that cannot be neatly drawn. It is also useful for outdoor events where butter cream would melt.

8. Can you match my color(s)?

We do not guarantee exact color matches, but we work hard to create a color that closely resembles the colors you provide. Please understand that colors often look somewhat different when printed from an e-mailed photograph. 

9.Can you make exactly as given sample?

We do not copy any sample and its not ethic. Given sample only will be used for references.

10. What if I need to cancel my order?

If an order is cancelled at any time before 72 hours of pick up there will be a 50% refund or 100% store credit. When deposits are made and you would like to cancel you will only get the money back in the form of store credit when canceled any time before 72 hours of pick up date. We do not refund any portion of the purchase price for orders canceled less than 72 hours before the due date and time.

11. Refund/exchange policy

We take pride in our dessert and cakes. If you are unhappy with your order and/or purchase, immediately notify us (within 24 hours of pick up) of your concern and return your dessert to us. We retain the right to judge our product quality for ourselve and determine the amount that can be refunded. All refunds will be provided as in-store credit.

12. I’ve heard that I need to place my order weeks in advance in order for you to help me?

Yes, preferable 2-3 weeks

13. I’ve noticed many of your designs contain 3-D elements such as bows and other items sitting on top of the cakes. What are those?

Those items are made from sugar-based products. We sculpt them all by hand, which is a very time-consuming process. We rarely use store bought, non-edible decorations on our desserts. These items generally require at least two weeks advance notice to create.

14. Do you conduct classes?

Yes we do. Either 1-1 or group. Mostly will be fully hands on. Least demo.

15. Is a deposit required when placing an order?

Yes. We require 80% of the total as the deposit.

16. What form of payment do you accept?

Bank transfer or cash before collection.

17. Can I make changes to my cake after I order?

You can make changes up to a week before pick up date. Changes can be made by calling us at 0197717074. please do not email us any short notice.

18. Do u make styrofoam cake?

Yes we do

19. Lost/Damages?

We don’t take any responsibility for lost/damages after cake/dessert collected or arranged.

20. What cake size do I need?

21. Any delivery service?

Yes. Charges according to mileage/tolls.

22. Do you make wedding/party favor?

Yes, please check out the favors.

23. Cake need to refridgerated?

All frosted cakes should be refridgerated.
